Who we are

This website is operated by The Optimum Choice for Legal Services, based in Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. This policy explains the data processed by the website, its purposes, how it is stored, and how to contact us about it.

Contact request data

When you submit the form on the contact page, the information you provide is recorded:

  • Your name.
  • Your selected contact method: telephone, WhatsApp or email, and the corresponding contact details.
  • Your selected service or the subject you enter.
  • Your preferred contact time.
  • An optional note of up to 500 characters.
  • The request language and submission date and time.

Browsing the website does not require you to provide this information. The form does not support document or attachment uploads.

Please provide only contact details and a general description of your request. Do not submit sensitive details or confidential documents.

Purposes of use

The company uses request data to contact the sender, follow up on an enquiry or arrange an appointment, and manage the follow-up status. It does not use this data to send marketing messages.

Technical data necessary to operate the website and protect it against misuse is also processed.

Cookies

The form uses functional cookies:

  • Submission confirmation: valid for up to five minutes, enabling confirmation of receipt after submission.
  • Rate limit notice: valid for up to five minutes, enabling a notice when the submission limit is exceeded.
  • Anti-forgery protection: a session cookie that helps protect the form against forged requests.

The confirmation and rate limit notice cookies are deleted when read. The website does not use a language preference cookie; the language is determined by the page URL.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, or tools that track visitor behaviour.

Internet address and technical data

The form’s protection mechanism uses the internet address to limit submissions to three requests per hour per address. The address is not saved in the contact request record and is used by the rate limiter in application memory.

The technical infrastructure and hosting provider may process connection and operational data, including internet addresses, to provide and secure the service.

Access to requests and email notifications

Authorised company staff can access requests through an administration panel that requires signing in. Viewing, follow-up and deletion permissions are separated, and changes to a request’s status are recorded with the actor and time.

The website sends a general notification through Gmail when a new request is saved. The notification does not contain the sender’s name, contact details, subject or note; it directs staff to sign in to the administration panel to view the request.

The information submitted by the visitor cannot be edited through the administration panel; only the follow-up status changes.

Hosting and backups

Website data is stored on a Hostinger server in Germany. Backups are created to support recovery from failures.

Daily backups include website data and contact requests. They are encrypted before being uploaded to Google Drive. The daily backup system retains cloud backups for 30 days and successful local backups for seven days.

Weekly hosting-provider backups and manual recovery copies also exist. Hosting and storage services may process data outside Jordan; we do not identify a single processing location within Jordan for all Google services.

Retention and deletion

A contact request becomes eligible for deletion at whichever occurs first:

  • 180 days after it is closed.
  • 365 days after it is received, regardless of its status.

The company’s administration carries out deletion of eligible requests; deletion does not occur automatically when the period expires.

Deleting a request from the website database does not immediately remove it from earlier backups. It may remain in those backups until they are deleted under their applicable retention periods. Weekly and manual backups have retention arrangements that differ from the daily schedule described above.

External links and services

The website includes links to WhatsApp, Facebook and Google Maps. Opening these links takes you to services governed by their operators’ privacy policies.

Selecting WhatsApp as your contact method in the form does not automatically send the form data to WhatsApp. An actual conversation conducted through WhatsApp is governed by that service’s policy.

We do not sell contact request data or share it for marketing purposes.

Requests concerning your data

You may contact the company to request access to your request data, correction of inaccurate information or deletion, or to exercise your other data rights under applicable law.

Because request data cannot be edited through the administration panel, the company reviews correction requests and determines an appropriate way to address them.

Email info@alamthalaw.com, or use the contact page, and explain your request. We may ask for appropriate information to verify your identity before disclosing data or taking action.

Sending a request does not mean acceptance of an engagement

Sending a message or appointment request through the website does not mean that the company accepts an engagement or begins representing the sender. Acceptance is subject to reviewing the nature of the work, checking for conflicts of interest and completing the necessary procedures.

An appointment is not confirmed until the company expressly confirms it. Sending a request does not suspend any legal deadline relating to the matter.

Data security

The website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, protection against forged and repeated submissions, and defined access permissions. Daily backups uploaded to Google Drive are encrypted before transmission.

No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

Policy updates

This policy may be updated when the website’s functions, operation or legal requirements change. The last update date is displayed on the page.
